Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?
I am currently in love with everything in the YA genre. Usually I am all about having romance in my novels, but I have been venturing into some YA that doesn't have much, if any romance at all in them and they are still GOOD. But I still do prefer my YA with romance in them. ;)
“Let’s talk crazy book titles! Highlight one or two (or as many as you like!) titles in your personal collection that have the most interesting titles! If you can’t find any, feel free to find one on the internet!
Wow! This is a tough question....Hmm...Well the craziest title that I can think of at the moment is Daughter of Smoke and Bone. It makes me want to read the book soon!!
Thanks for stopping by! Leave a comment so I can stop by your blog as well. =)
It's always nice to have an awesome romance going on!!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is sooo funkY!! I love teh font but it was a little hard to read :/
ReplyDeleteKylie @ The Talking Teacup
Hopping through. I read a lot more YA now than I did when I was younger. I love it now. Also, I am also having a hard time reading your font. The script is prettier but I think it needs to be bigger.

Love the YA genre, too. Even as an adult you can get lost in it and escape for a while.

ReplyDeleteNice choice. It's a hard question to answer! And I agree with the statement about the romance. I love having romance in books but I'm now okay with reading books that don't have romance in them!
ReplyDeleteI like romance as long as it's not super "cheesy" lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog and following! I'm following you back :)

Thanks for checking out my blog! Your blog looks like my kind of place! I'm following you as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I actually was going to answer this week with Daughter of Smoke and Bone, then changed it at the last minute! This one is in my next 10 books to read, and I love the name. The cover is great too!
Just noticed your blog and saw that you are an IB student- I am an IB grad that is now an AP English teacher (hopefully IB teacher soon). IB is awesome and prepared me so much for college- and I know at least with that curriculum you're reading more than just YA. Not that there's anything wrong with YA, but make sure to expand your horizons into some serious lit. I know, a nagging teacher :)
ReplyDeleteFollowing you now! I don't read YA all the time, but I am enjoying that genre more and more as time goes on.
ReplyDeleteI prefer romance, as well. I don't really need it if the book is good enough, but I like it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
