Blood Ties Character Interview with Jayden (AND a Giveaway) *CLOSED*

Hey guys! Jayden from Mari Mancusi's Blood Coven series stopped by today for an interview! =) Enjoy!

Who is your famous crush?

Okay - this is a professional crush, not a romantic one, but I am obsessed with the Dog Whisperer. As you know, I love animals and work with them on a daily basis at the Comedy Pet Theater in Vegas. Caesar has such a way with dogs--I'd love to spend a week with him and learn all his secrets. Then maybe the mischievous rescues who are too smart for their own good would actually listen to me for once!

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I'd travel to Africa and go on a safari. It would be amazing to see all the animals out there, living wild and free. Unfortunately, I've never been anywhere outside of Vegas. My mom just doesn't have that kind of money. Maybe someday...

What is it like being a hemophiliac?


It's not an easy life. If I get even the tiniest cut, I could easily bleed to death. So I have to be very careful. Which means I can't do some of the more adventurous stuff some of my Vegas friends like to do. And I probably shouldn't be working with dogs and cats who could possibly scratch or bite me and cause a major problem. But I love animals so much, it's a risk I'm willing to take. 

Why would you risk your life to save Sunny?


Because she's worth it. She's worth everything. And her boyfriend just doesn't seem to get that, which is so unfair to her. I don't know how anyone could treat someone like her as second priority. If I ever had a chance with her I'd dedicate my whole life to making her feel safe, happy and loved.

Is there anything that you would like to reveal about yourself that readers do not know?

My life was always pretty much an open book until recently. As readers will learn in Blood Ties, I was bitten by a vampire and now am slowly morphing into one myself. I'm not sure how this will affect my relationship (or lack of one) with Sunny. I know she's very into vampires, so I'm secretly hoping it might work out in my favor... But don't say anything to her--I don't want her to think I'm trying to come between her and her boyfriend. Even if he doesn't deserve her...
