From Goodreads:
A modern retelling of the German legend "Tristan and Isolde", "Tris and Izzie", is about a young witch named Izzie who is dating Mark King, the captain of the basketball team and thinks her life is going swimmingly well. Until-- she makes a love potion for her best friend Brangane and then ends up taking it herself accidentally, and falling in love with Tristan, the new guy at school.
Light, contemporary romantic fantasy for teens.
Why I'm Excited:
I have never read the German legend of Tristan and Isolde but it sounds fascinating! This sounds like a great romance!
I adore this cover! Can't wait to read this!

Tristan and Isolde is not a very well-known fairy tale (I myself had never heard of it until I saw a children's cartoon version listed on Netflix), so I'm glad that it's being re-told!
