Synopsis:

My Review:
Dear Rachel, you know just how to drive your me insane, make me so angry that I scream at the book, and make it possible for me to finish your books within hours without lifting my head from the pages once. I love you and hate you at the same time for making me this crazy person whenever I read any of your books. But that just shows how talented you are and how intense your novels can be. Even though I may get mad at you for some of your decisions, I eventually come to understand that they are necessary and meant to happen. Love, Bailey
Did you read that letter to Rachel above? Yeah, I knew you did. I don't normally do that but I just couldn't help myself. Her books make me feel so many things and once I dive in, I won't come out until the very last page. Even hours after finishing MY SOUL TO STEAL, I am still soaking in what happened. I was shocked, flaming mad, elated, flaming mad again, scared for Kaylee's life, and finally I just felt all of the things I just listed. Rachel Vincent is such a talented author. It is extremely hard to get me that involved in a book but Vincent does it every single time. I know that every time I pick up one of her books, I will not be able to think about anything other than that book while I am reading it. This is a bit of a problem when I read one of her books at school, right?
Kaylee is absolutely amazing! I love how she doesn't take crap from anyone. She is not okay with Sabine trying to come in and steal her boyfriend, and she definitely doesn't keep quite about that. I love how she doesn't sit on her concerns about Sabine and Nash. Kaylee is willing to confront him about her fears, and she doesn't make any excuses about what she is feeling. I love everything about Kaylee! Rachel couldn't have written a better heroine.
But then comes Nash. If you have read the previous book, you will know why I am sooo furious at him. But like Kaylee, I can't help but love him. He has many problems to deal with in MY SOUL TO STEAL but he knows that and doesn't make any excuses for his actions. One thing that infuriated me though, was his weird relationship with Sabine. I get that they were pretty serious when they were together, but doesn't he get why Kaylee wouldn't want them hanging out together? Boys can be so clueless!
And then there is Tod. Tod is my absolute favorite character in the Soul Screamers series. Snarky but sweet, he wormed his way into my heart from the start. He is his usual self in this novel, but I started noticing some very interesting things about him. You will just have to read this one to find out what I mean!
Before I start giving away too much, I should probably wrap up this review. But I am sure you get the point by now how awesome this series is! If you haven't read it yet, or just haven't read MY SOUL TO STEAL, you are sure missing out!
