Mini Review: Don't Breathe a Word by Holly Cupala

HarperTeen

My Review:
Don't Breathe a Word is so utterly compelling and honest that I was speechless after turning the last page. This is the most horrifying yet captivating story of abuse that I have ever read. Holly Cupala enthralled me with her flawless writing and engaging characters. Don't Breathe a Word is one of the best books that I have ever read.

First of all, there is the beautifully woven story. Everything that happen had to happen in order for Triste (Joy) to come out as she did in the end. Cupala's writing is gorgeous and so alluring. Her characters are beautifully fleshed out, and each have their own dark past. Creed, May, and Santos help Triste heal her emotional wounds, and come out a much happier person. Get your hands on a copy of this one when it releases!!
